Answered Prayer

The Lord has blessed us with a donation of another computer for our computer/video room. It will be used for administering Word Building tests.

While we have three computers in this room none of them will be of any use when the year 2000 rolls around. The same holds true for the computer used for all the student's permanent records. Let's pray that these can be replaced in time.

For the first time this school year, every Learning Center student successfully quoted their monthly memory passage and earned the right to go out to eat at Toosomes Pizza, the school's treat. As you can see, they enjoyed their reward, and as you can imagine, much pizza was consumed.

Volleyball Time!

Our girls are working hard to get ready for the girl's vollyball competition at Student Convention in April. They have been practicing 2 - 3 days a week learning the fundamentals of the game. They are learning together, as none of the girls have played on an organized volleyball team before.

Girls, keep up the hard work!

Model School Status

We received a visit from our School of Tomorrow representative, Mr. Jack Holland a few weeks ago. He presented a devotional message for our students anf staff, and reviewed every single facet of our school. He interviewed students, checked our school records and files for accuracy and organization and rated us as a school. We are very excited to relay to you that Mr. Holland has recommended our school for School of Tomorrow Model School Status. This means that we meet all their requirements for a qulaity school. It also means that we will have accredited status by School of Tomorrow if we are approved by the Director of School Services.

March Bible Memory Passage

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

For the work of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of sould and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
